Day 7: Male Bonding
Because his bilirubin levels were high, Quinlan had to spend most of his time under the phototherapy lights. This meant limited kangaroo time. Since kangaroo care stimulates mom's breast milk as well as helping Quinlan regulate his temperature, the 1 hour/day that he was allowed was reserved for mom. Well, after his levels were deemed adequate, Quinlan was allowed more time out of the isolette.
Dad immediately took advantage and held him for > 2 hours. Look at how happy they both are!
