Being off the lights allows us to finally swaddle Quinlan. We make sure that his hands are near his face and it is helping with overall motor development but the rest of him is wrapped up tight like a burrito. He finds this so soothing that he didn't even notice that he lost his hat (made for him by MGH volunteers) or his preemie binky.
Mom is working on her swaddling techniques and Quinlan has already peed on both blankets mom brought from home, as well as 2 onesies.
"Mom, you need to get used to doing my laundry now." Perhaps mom also has a list of requirements from her son before they go home.
He's a cute little fellow! He's making marvelous progress which must be so reassuring to his parents....its definitely reassuring to his grandparents. This is a great photo!!
